Meet The Team

Born and raised in South Korea, Dr. Mia’s journey to become a dentist began at her young age. Volunteering at her father’s hospital intensified her dream to be a healthcare provider because communicating with patients closely and making them smile gave her the true contentment. Growing up with parents who are supportive to quench her curiosity toward to the world, she traveled more than 20 countries. Among them, the most inspiring experience was spending a month in Campbellsville, Kentucky as an exchange student when she was 16. Pairing her love of being in the U.S and her desire to help others smile, she attended University at Buffalo, State University of New York where she obtained her bachelors science degree with biology with the dean’s list.

 

Dr. Mia continued her education at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, receiving her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) She does numerous hours of continuing education yearly to keep current and the most up to date advances in dentistry. She has studied extensively to receive certification in the field of short-term orthodontics, including Invsalign®, Noviclear and Six Month Smiles®. She is currently in an externship program of Academy of Gp Orthodontics and  Orthodontic Teaching Institute using Self-ligating Brackets.  She has a vast experience in pediatric dentistry, frenectomies, and laser dentistry. She aims to serve her patients with sincerity while being gentle, honest and warm. Dr. Mia’s passion for treating children translates to a level of care and respect towards the children. Her goal is to give her patients pleasant experiences as possible so that they look forward to the dentist and get motivated to have better oral health than before. Dr Mia Lee genuinely takes care of her patients with friendly and kind bed side manners. Some patients seek only for her just to be comfort for  their dental visits.  She feels previleged to be a positive influence to a growing child’s oral health and dental experience that can impact on the rest of their lives. As you can tell by now, Dr Mia and Dr Lee are a married couple!  They have a furry daughter named Yeppi. They enjoy spending time with her,  watching movies, and working out together.
